Brick lining Double Shaft consists of two vertical shafts and a connecting crossover line. The two shafts work with each other. While one calcines the product, the other heats the stone. In the combustion shaft, lime is calcined in parallel. The hot combustion gases are then transferred through a crossover line to the non-combustion shaft where they heat the limestone in a countercurrent flow in the upper area of the shaft. The direction of the gas flow is reversed periodically. This allows for the regenerative preheating of the rock (the rock in the kiln preheating zone acts as a heat exchanger) and thus for maximum use of the heat contained in the kiln gas.
The installation process is carried out with careful calculations and under supervision to ensure the quality of the installation
